I am a Virtual Assistant: Personal & Office

You won’t find any fancy wording, unbelievable comments, or a “you cannot get along without me” type of writing here. Not that you cannot get along without me or I do not have fancy and unbelievable comments to share with you. I do not feel it is necessary.

I provide top-notch services to my clients. Writing letters, both snail and email, updating employee handbooks, policies and procedures, creating a desktop operations manual, proofreading manuscripts, manuals, and other types of writing mediums. I am creative, dedicated, and intuitive. Three marks for me on the plus side.

As a unique problem solver I find solutions that may not seem viable at first, but on second do work. I believe in streamlining the work, handle once and get done, not two or three times before it is finished. I believe most of the hours paid for are not producing services or products.

I chose to work from my home office because commuting was money and time lost. If I do not have a client to provide services to I am in class studying forensic psychology or comparative religion. Reading and studying how to improve my writing skills, computer troubleshooting skills, and other talents that can always use a boost.

Working from a home office is not so much about getting rich, it is about living a healthy, non-rushed life and providing honorable and professional services to others. I am a service, believing in customer service first.

My fees are reasonable, negotiable, and barterable. (Yeah, probably no a real word, but you get what I mean). I do require a deposit, it is not refundable. I do have to pay my bills as well. It may seem like a risk, but I do not ask for much, 35% on flat rate projects, and two hours on hourly rates. With all work there is a guarantee above the deposit. Full or partial refund. I say partial because I have had clients refuse to pay for my work and use it anyway. So it gets a bit stiff in the money department. Know I will make all corrections and changes as part of the price. If we cannot work it out, no hard feelings. I may have a resource that will work for you.

I am not new to the virtual office assistant scene. I did take time off to work on studies, brush up on my office skills and begin this blog, oh, and another one. This is not my only skill area. :)

I offer consultations and training as part of my services. I cannot, nor do I promise, to be the answer to everything. But I do promise to find those answers, help you resolve your problems, find answers to your questions, and be there to listen.

I am eager to get to work. Contact me today, set up a free consultation. Let’s see if we can work together.

Software, Technology, & Offers

Software is one of the important components used daily in a person’s life to operate a computer or smart phone. Without software, you will accomplish little. A computer will not operate without software. Nearly everyone, businesses and individuals alike, rely on some form of computer. If you have a smart phone or any one of a thousand styles of mobile phones, you rely on software to get the job done. From setting appointment, browsing through the web, saving your contacts, and communications, software is the core that gets the job done.

Working from Home? Or Want to?

It is not hard to begin working from home. The step is simple, use Nike’s slogan: Just Do It. It is simple, not exactly easy. I set my reminder here once again: Simple and Easy are not synonymous. :)

Searching for legitimate organizations to work for is not an easy task, especially if you do not know what keywords to use. Then you have to sort through the rumble and mess. I have come across many so called “get it now, earn it big” type structures. BE WARY: You do not have to pay to work from home or to find legitimate work. I will repeat this for you: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO WORK FROM HOME. Ever.

Following is a list of employment opportunities. You will need a resume, some ask for past work samples.

Ubiqus has several work from home positions available to those who qualify and do not mind working the regular work type hours.

CashFlights.com is in need of a social media person. Click here for the full scoop.

The companies listed are legitimate, no fee, employment opportunities for those who seek to work from their home, full time or part time. You are an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes and expenses. Some position require equipment and software specific to their organization. Always ask if they will provide it or at least help to offset the cost. Especially if it is unique to them.

Best wishes in your search and stay tuned. There is more to come as I travel the cyber paths to income.
